UTILITIES

The costs for energy consumption (electricity and gas and / or heating) can best be assessed over the course of 12 months. This has to do with the fact that most of the yearly energy consumption (say about 75%) is used during the colder months. If you would pay what is used on a monthly basis – the monthly amount would differ a lot which is not preferable. For this reason, an energy company (or your landlord) works with a monthly advance payment. At the end of your Rental Agreement, a calculation is made regarding how much energy is consumed and you will either receive back what has been overpaid or pay extra if you paid less in advance then what has been consumed.

SHORT-STAY PACKAGE

This apartment comes with a mandatory short-stay package of EUR 295,- per person (organized by the property manager) which can be taken with you after the contract has expired:

- Apartment package (shared by residents, so one package per apartment) includes: tableware (dinner and side plates, bowls, glasses, and mugs); complete cutlery set; cooking essentials (induction frying pans, wok, pan set, wooden spoons, spatulas, and knives); cutting boards and colander; bottle opener, corkscrew, and peeling knife; tea and kitchen towels; dishwashing supplies (dish soap, dish brush, dishwasher tablets, scrub pad); pot holders and coasters; bath mat, toilet paper, and toilet brush with holder; hand soap; and cleaning products (all-prupose cleaner, cleaning cloth)
